Educational leadership can be a thankless job filled with long hours and little reward. But you love it! You are there for the students and teachers and want to ignite real change that leads to meaningful improvement. If only there were enough hours in the day.

The good news is, there could be. But you have to be courageous, which I know you are, and give yourself permission to break away from educational habits that aren’t all they are cracked up to be. These time drains are things you may think you have to do, but consider if you have to do them the same traditional way they have been done for years, even with little to no positive impact.
